There are several types of concerns a researcher might need to report to NIH during the application process or while conducting NIH-supported research, from grant scams to research misconduct to peer-review integrity violations. However, it can be hard to remember whom to contact when there are so many types of concerns you may need to report. Luckily, NIH’s Report a Concern page collates resources and contact information to report:

  • Grant scams
  • Fraud
  • Research misconduct
  • Harassment
  • Foreign interference
  • Peer-review integrity violations

Be sure to bookmark this resource to have on hand. If a concern arises that involves NIH-funded research activities, refer to it and take the appropriate path. For more information on how to address allegations of misconduct, go to Allegations of Research Misconduct SOP.
