The Centers of Excellence for Influenza Research and Response (CEIRR) is an NIAID-supported international research network to study influenza and provide research infrastructure to combat influenza outbreaks. CEIRR invites you to consider the new Pilot Research Program, a funding and collaboration opportunity for non-CEIRR investigators.
Create an innovative research proposal that is relevant to the Universal Influenza Vaccine Strategic Plan, advances the NIAID mission of pandemic preparedness and response, and aligns with the goals and unmet needs of one of the CEIRR Centers. You may contact Center investigators directly to discuss potential collaborations.
Proposals are due on or before April 5, 2022. Follow the application instructions on the Pilot Research Program website to download, complete, and submit the five-page CEIRR Pilot Program Form (Adobe PDF).
Keep in mind, this is not an NIH funding opportunity announcement. While you may consider the general application advice on the NIAID website, you must follow CEIRR’s policies and procedures. Scientific leadership groups at the CEIRR Centers will evaluate and rank proposals for funding consideration.
