Join us in our annual appreciation of NIAID peer review and committee members, then learn how to volunteer for a peer review group yourself.
Cheers to Volunteers
We express our deepest gratitude to everyone who volunteered to serve on a peer review group or advisory committee in fiscal year 2023. Your time, effort, and contributions are critically important to help us fund the most impactful science in support of NIAID’s mission. The peer review process is vital to NIH's extramural research programs and would not be possible without you.
Therefore, on behalf of NIAID and our research community, Thank You to Members of NIAID Peer Review Groups and Advisory Committees and NIAID Council Members!
If you spot any issues with your entry, email deaweb@niaid.nih.gov.
We also give thanks to those who served as reviewers at the NIH Center for Scientific Review (CSR) level. You may find your name listed through CSR Study Sections.
Consider Volunteering as a Peer Reviewer
Your service would provide an irreplaceable contribution to biomedical science. In addition, the peer review experience is a unique opportunity for you to observe common application pitfalls, learn what works for reviewers, and use your insights to write stronger applications in the future.
