Biography
My research focuses on preventing and controlling viruses that cause diarrhea, with a specialty in noroviruses. The research aims to understand the molecular mechanisms responsible for shifts in the epidemiology and pathogenesis of the virus. My expertise includes diagnostic assay development, molecular epidemiology, evolutionary dynamics of noroviruses, and the improvement of stem cell-derived intestinal culture systems to understand the complex interplay between the virus and host cells.
