Biography
Dr. Jesse Arbuckle received his Ph.D. for his work on the chromosome integration of Human Herpesvirus-6A and 6B during latency. In the Molecular Genetics Section Dr. Arbuckle has examined the chromatin remodeler CHD3 and the histone methyltransferase EZH2 function in herpes simplex virus lytic gene expression. His research interests include using in vivo mouse models to understand the chromatin control of herpesvirus lytic and latency-reactivation cycles by the transcriptional coactivator HCF-1.
