Biography

Patrick is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Viral Epidemiology and Immunity Unit, LID, NIAID. His previous work focused on clinical trials of drugs for the treatment of malaria and the determinants of cell-type dependent virus release for New and Old-World Arenaviruses, including Junin virus, Machupo virus, Tacaribe virus, Latino virus, Pichinde virus and Lassa virus. He is currently focused on studying the immune interactions among dengue viruses as well as among coronaviruses in order to develop and evaluate vaccines and other therapeutics.
