Biography
Dr. Alexander Vostal is an active-duty officer in the United States Public Health Service and a Clinical Research Fellow in the Laboratory of Infectious Diseases of the National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. After receiving a Doctorate of Medicine from the Uniform Services University of the Health Sciences, Dr. Vostal completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital and clinical fellowship in Infectious Diseases at the University of Maryland Medical Center. Areas of academic research interest include infections in immunocompromised hosts and vaccine development. Currently working on development of EBV vaccines.
