Biography
Dr. Oyler is a mass spectrometrist and analytical chemist with broad scientific exposure and perspective ranging from countermeasures against chemical warfare nerve agent poisoning to molecular host-pathogen interactions. He is currently working on advanced mass spectrometry (MS) applications including mass spectrometry imaging (MSI) of small and large molecules in human and non-human primate tissues to support basic human immunology research and early vaccine development efforts. His research interests include MS instrumentation development and novel analytical method/technique development for biological applications.
