Biography
Tibor earned his Ph.D. studying neuro-immune interactions of the airway mucosa in allergic disease via 3D confocal microscopy in Hannover, Germany. He continued his post-doctoral training in Turku, Finland, during which period he also visited the NIAID for a 1-year fellowship. As a post-doc and later as a Junior PI in Turku, he studied the immunological basis of the allergic airway response using intravital two-photon microscopy. In 2017 he returned to the NIH to work on understanding humoral immunity to vaccine adjuvants.
