Biography
Dr. Redd explores several areas of HIV virology including the role of HIV Superinfection in natural disease, as well as viral diversity in the African HIV/AIDS pandemic. In addition, Dr. Redd oversees virology contributions to several projects in South Africa examining HIV+ to HIV+ kidney transplants, prevention of mother-to-child transmission, and the latent viral reservoir in South African and Ugandan subjects.
