Biography
Jason Barnett is the Operations Contract Lead for the Bioinformatics and Computational Biology group. Jason leads teams of expert bioinformatics and software developers in the Clinical Genomics and LIMS space. Jason has provided leadership in the group operations of BCBB for fifteen years as it has grown from a program to a branch within the NIAID OCICB. Jason brings to the group previous industry experience managing transgenic plant selection pipelines and organizing technical documentation and marketing communications for a biotech startup creating pathway-focused microarrays. Serving the NIAID mission by delivering systems that add efficiencies and enhance and organize research operations is Jason’s main area of focus.
