Biography
Haik Mkhikian is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of California, Irvine. A lifelong anteater, Dr. Mkhikian received his B.A. in Philosophy, B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and M.D./Ph.D. degrees from UC Irvine. After completing his residency in Clinical Pathology, he joined the faculty in 2022. His lab focuses on developing new approaches to study glycobiology and in understanding the role of glycans in T cell biology.
