Biography

Dr. Xianfang Wu is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Infection Biology at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner Research Institute. He earned his Ph.D. degree from The Florida State University and subsequently completed his postdoctoral training at Rockefeller University. His current research focuses on two main directions: 1) understanding the intrinsic differences in antiviral resistance between stem cells and terminally differentiated cells; and 2) modeling human disease using stem cell-derived multicellular culture systems.
