Biography
Dasha received her MPH in Epidemiology of Microbial Diseases with a concentration in public health modeling from the Yale School of Public Health and her PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Pittsburgh. During her PhD, she developed and validated an implementation framework and checklist to support the publication of reproducible infectious disease computational modeling studies. As a Data Scientist in the Office of Data Science and Emerging Technologies (ODSET), she is contributing to the development of an AI-ready knowledge base for pandemic preparedness, evaluating data ecosystems across the NIH ICs, and conducting a portfolio analysis of NIAID-supported data science grants. Additionally, she coordinates the NIAID Data Science Working Group.
