Biography

Yuting Shao is a postdoctoral visiting fellow in the Computational Biology Section. She received her Ph.D. in physics from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Institute of Physics, her M.S. in computer science from Northeastern University, and her B.S. in electronic engineering from Jilin University. She brings a unique interdisciplinary background to her research, combining her expertise in electronic engineering, computer science, and physics.

Dr. Shao's research focuses on the development of innovative computational methods and software for biological applications, with a particular emphasis on immunology. By leveraging her knowledge of computer science and physics, she aims to develop Simmune and analysis packages that can provide deeper insights into the mechanisms underlying immunological processes.
