Biography
DprE1 is a crucial enzyme involved in the cell wall biosynthesis of Mycobacterium tuberculosis and is a target for the antituberculosis drug quabodepistat. I am working to elucidate the structure of DprE1 when bound to quabodepistat. In addition, I am interested in investigating collateral resistance and susceptibility phenotypes to other tuberculosis drugs in the presence of quabodepistat-resistant strains.
