Biography

Diana Marangu-Boore received her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (M.D. equivalent), Master of Medicine in Paediatrics and Child Health, and Doctor of Philosophy in Tropical and Infectious Diseases degrees from the University of Nairobi, Kenya. She obtained her Master of Public Health in Global Health degree at the University of Washington. Diana completed her paediatric pulmonology fellowship at Red Cross Children’s Hospital and received her Master of Philosophy in Paediatric Pulmonology from the University of Cape Town, South Africa. Her current research focus is on the immunology and genetics of recurrent and persistent pneumonia, antecedents to bronchiectasis and interstitial lung disease.
