Alumni from the Allergy & Immunology (A&I) Fellowship Program share their experiences.
Stephanie Kubala, M.D.
Stephanie is currently working at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. While she was in the Allergy and Immunology Fellowship Program, she had these thoughts to share:
“…I've experienced immense flexibility to custom design my research plan especially during the COVID 19 crisis. My focus is split between clinical research on food allergy quality of life and also bench research on dissecting food allergy genetic susceptibilities.”
Muhammed Bilal Khalid, M.D.
Muhammed is now an Allergist-Immunologist in Rhode Island. While he was at NIAID, he said, "NIAID truly provides a culture of growth and success, and thus in all ways possible supports advancement of science. During my time here, I have found incredible support from my supervisors, mentors, and peers, who have always been there to provide guidance and help so I can achieve my goals and navigate what lies ahead!"
