CRNA—Center for Structural Biology of HIV RNA

Principal investigator: Alice Telesnitsky, Ph.D., University of Michigan

The CRNA comprises an integrated team of biophysicists, cell and computational biologists, chemists, and virologists dedicated to advancing understanding of the structures and molecular processes that involve RNA during HIV-1 replication. Center investigators are collectively focused on the structures, dynamics, interactions, and mechanisms of action of HIV-1 RNA during the late phase of viral replication.
