Foreword and Tributes

The 30th anniversary version of the Report, which highlights recent advances in vaccine research, is prefaced by a foreword by NIAID Director Anthony S. Fauci, M.D. It also includes tributes to the late William S. Jordan, M.D., Robert M. Chanock, M.D., and Edwin D. Kilbourne, M.D., by Carole A. Heilman, Ph.D., director of the NIAID Division of Microbiology and Infectious Diseases.
