Dr. Jim Cherry obtained his Ph.D. from the Catholic University of America in molecular biology with a concentration in bio-medical science. He earned an M.S. from Johns Hopkins University in molecular biology with a concentration in biotechnology. His bachelor’s degree is from Shepherd University with a major in biology and minor in chemistry. Under the administration of the Associate Director of Research Technologies in the Division of Intramural Research. His accrued scientific knowledge and the centralized and efficient management of technologies that include but not limited to design, perform and evaluate experiments conducted using state of the art equipment for NIAID.

Elizabeth Fischer, M.A. is the Chief of the RML Microscopy Unit which provides state-of-the-art technologies to support the ultrastructural imaging needs of NIAID scientists both in the Bethesda, Maryland, area and at the Rocky Mountain Laboratories in Hamilton, Montana.

Julie Hartman, RTB’s Operation Director, joined NIAID in 2021 after an extensive career with the NCI for more than 20 years. She has experience managing, executing new programs, process efficiency, and identifying solutions. She is also Contracting Officer Representative (COR) III certified with your vast experience in developing and overseeing government contracts. Julie earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Shepherd University.
