Dr. Darrell Hurt joined NIAID in 2006 following postdoctoral work using X-ray crystallography at NIDDK. He led BCBB’s consultative work from 2008 to 2015 when he became the Branch Chief. He specializes in structural biology modeling, including protein folding, docking, and molecular dynamics. He also specializes in 3D printing, visualization, and modeling.
