M.S., 2022, Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, College Station, TX

D.V.M, M.P.H, 2018, University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine, Columbia, MO

B.S., 2013, Clemson University, Clemson, SC

Dr. Robinson began her interest and passion for veterinary medicine at Clemson University in South Carolina. There she received her bachelor’s in science (B.S.) degree majoring specifically in Animal and Veterinary Sciences in 2013. She then went on to receive her dual D.V.M/M.P.H degrees from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine at Columbia, in 2018, where she took a special interest in public health and preventative medicine. Once completed she went on to complete a residency program in Laboratory Animal Medicine at Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in 2022, which provided her with a breadth of knowledge and experience with species such as rodents, rabbits, zebrafish, dogs, pigs, and sheep.

As a part of the residency program, she also completed a master’s in science degree (M.S.) where she developed a new animal model for urinary tract infection in mice as well as provide new evidence for how certain strains of Uropathogenic E. coli (UPEC) can create ascending infections in female CBA/J mice. This work will hopefully bring us one step closer into understanding the intricacies of women who continually experience urinary tract infections. After completion of the residency Dr. Robinson decided it was time to return to her home state of Maryland and to the National Institutes of Health, where she has previously completed multiple summer externships in lab animal medicine, to begin her career as a laboratory animal veterinarian.

She has an active veterinary license in the states of Missouri, Texas, Maryland, and Virginia. Dr. Robinson became a diplomate and specialty board certified by the American College of Laboratory Animal Medicine in July of 2022. She joined the CMB team and became part of NIAID in August of 2022, where she currently serves as the Facility Veterinarian for Building 14 B South.
